My first true day at MCDH

MCDH is one of the best hospitals in the US . But sometimes I am not so sure if I believe it is the best because I work there or because of what kind of care they provide to their patients. Anyway MCDH is actually short for Medical City Dallas Hospital. It is my second week of orientation here and I find myself working on the unit by myself. At first I am nervous because lets just say after 4 months vacation and being away from this usual routine that entails my job; I kinda lost my confidence as a worker. Anyway so I am still doing the same old stuff that I was doing while I worked at Parkland Hospital. However I have to keep reminding myself that this is a hospital of a different caliber. It is good all the same. I am so sleepy ... The fact that I am away from my baby too is not helping matters. If anything it is making me pretty emotional right now.

I am not sure what I shall make of working here as the days go by. I just pray though that I do not lose the syke to keep going because God knows I need this job at this point in my life.
